GreenGuard® CM Insulation Board
GreenGuardâ Insulation Board is Extruded Polystyrene (XPS) and features high compressive strength, high resistance to moisture absorption and excellent thermal performance. That makes it an excellent choice for use below grade as insulation and/or as a barrier to protect the applied waterproofing membrane from damage as backfilling is done.
GreenGuard® PB4 Waterproofing Protection Board
Use GreenGuard® PB4 Waterproofing Protection Board after applying the waterproofing membrane to exterior foundation walls to prevent damage when backfilling. GreenGuardâ PB4 Waterproofing Protection Board has high compressive strength and impact resistance to withstand the toughest load pressures and backfilling impact. Available as ¼" thick, 4' x 50' fanfolded product, GreenGuard® PB4 is light weight, easy to transport, and easy to install. Since it is Extruded Polystyrene (XPS) its’ dense, closed-cell construction provides superior resistance to moisture absorption and decomposition from long-term exposure to chemicals in the soil.
GreenGuard® SL Insulation Board
GreenGuardâ Insulation Board is Extruded Polystyrene (XPS) and features high compressive strength, high resistance to moisture absorption and excellent thermal performance. That makes it an excellent choice for use below grade as insulation and/or as a barrier to protect the applied waterproofing membrane from damage as back filling is done.
Placing insulation on the foundation exterior and/or below the slab gives thermal protection to keep the foundation from reaching the temperature of the ground. The GreenGuardâ Insulation Board R-Value of 5.0 per inch of thickness makes it an excellent thermal insulator. GreenGuard® Insulation Board has low water absorption and retains R-Value over time.
GreenGuardâ Insulation can be used to insulate interior basement walls where a gypsum board or other fire-rated wallboard is used. (Check local codes.) GreenGuardâ Shiplap-Edge Insulation Board for foundation and basement use is available in thickness’ of 1", 1½", or 2".
