DensDeck DuraGuard™ Roof Board is an enhanced, glass-mat roof board with a low perm, integrated coating. The durable DuraGuard™ coating provides an ideal substrate for a wide variety of adhered roofing systems, including self-adhered, hot-mopped membranes, and torched asphaltic systems. The coating assures more uniform spreading of adhesives, an excellent coverage rate, and it enhances the bond strength of membrane system-to-board without the need for field priming with a number of systems.* It is ideal for metal roof systems and fluid-applied membranes.

With patented DensDeck® design, DensDeck DuraGuard™ roof board employs glass mat facings front and back over a moisture-resistant treated gypsum core. This provides excellent fire resistance, and wind uplift properties. The glass mats also help resist jobsite damage and increase the life cycle of roof systems.

The unique construction of DensDeck DuraGuard roof board provides superior flute spanning and will help stiffen and stabilize the roof deck. It has also been shown to withstand delamination, deterioration, warping and jobsite damage more effectively than roofing membrane substrates such as paper-faced gypsum board, fiberboard and perlite insulation. DensDeck DuraGuard roof board resists the growth of mold when tested, as manufactured, per ASTM D 3273.
