Commercial Roof Fiberboard
GP's general purpose roof fiberboard is used in conventional
built-up and modified bitumen systems, as a recover board over
existing roof decks prior to reproofing, and as a protective cover
over insulation.
This uniform-density fiberboard uses cellulosic wood fibers with
additives to improve strength and moisture resistance. It is
available in high-density versions in 1/2" and 1" thicknesses, and
regular-density in 1/2" thickness. Applications include use:
|
|
|
| • | Under fully adhered EPDM single ply membrane (High-density only). |
| • | Under mechanically fastened roof systems. |
| • | Under loose laid ballasted roof systems. |
Stedi-R Regular Fiberboard Sheathing
This environmentally-sensitive product is ideal for commercial and residential above-ground wall applications, and as underlayment for many types of siding. Designed to minimize the waviness often associated with installed lap siding, Stedi-R® Regular allows water vapors to pass through the wall cavity, rather than being trapped within the wall.
Stedi-R Regular Sheathing is available in 1/2" thickness, in 4' x 8' and 4' x 9' sheets. It is also available coated on six sides.
Stedi-R Structural Fiberboard Sheathing
Stedi-R Structural Sheathing (also referred to as intermediate impregnated sheathing) meets building code requirements for racking resistance in residential construction. It is certified to meet 5200 lbs. minimum racking strength.
Stedi-R Structural Sheathing is used for above-ground insulating sheathing, and backer board under many types of exterior siding. It helps deliver R-16 ratings with 2x4 studs and R-13 fiberglass insulation. Environmentally-sensitive Stedi-R Structural Sheathing is available in 1/2" and 25/32" thicknesses, in 4' x 8' and 4' x 9' sheets. It is also available coated on six sides.
